AUSTIN, TX – According to tweets from the Austin-Tavis County EMS, three people were injured in a single-vehicle crash on I-35 south of Slaughter Lane.

The incident took place on New Year’s Day when a vehicle struck a tree. At around 6:44 p.m., three people inside the vehicle were injured. One patient sustained critical, life-threatening injuries in the crash. Another victim sustained serious injuries. The third patient received minor injuries in the crash.
This incident caused traffic delays in the area.
