Crash Alert: 4 hospitalized following multi-vehicle crash in East Austin

AUSTIN, TX – Officials with Austin-Travis County EMS have reported multiple injuries resulting from a collision east of downtown Austin Saturday night.

According to CBS Austin, the collision occurred just after 9:20 p.m within the intersection of Manor Road and Airport Boulevard.

Initial reports were that two vehicles involved in the crash, with one victim pinned inside. Officials were able to extract the individual and rush them to Dell Seton Medical Center to be treated for serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.

Three others were transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were not deemed to be life-threatening.

Details regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash or the identities of those involved have not yet been made public.
