Crash Alert: Construction worker killed after four story fall

AUSTIN, TX – Authorities in Austin are investigating what may have caused a construction worker to fall four stories to their death Friday afternoon.

According to the Austin- Travis County EMS Twitter page, the accident was reported at just before 2:00 p.m. from a building under construction on the 2500 block of Montopolis drive.  The patient was pronounced dead upon paramedics’ arrival on the scene.

No word on the identity of the victim or what may have caused them to fall from the building. However, the situation is still under investigation and we will provide those details as they are made available.
