GEORGETOWN, TX – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 35 near Georgetown over the weekend.
According to KXAN, the crash occurred at about 5:30 a.m. Friday near the intersection of I-35 Southbound and Country Road 146. Officials were forced to lock the southbound lanes on I-35 for several hours causing a major traffic jam during Friday morning’s rush hour.
No information regarding the identity of the victim or what may have caused the crash has been released by Georgetown Authorities as of yet. However, the investigation is still on going. We will provide any further details as they are made available.
