MANOR, TX – According to Fox7, a driver has been charged for his role in a fatal crash that took place last week at the intersection of US-290 and FM 973.
The accident happened on November 11th at around 1:40 a.m. Police officer Shaun Harr witnessed the crash, and stated that a black Ford pickup truck struck a white sedan at full speed.
Harr investigated and found the pickup truck empty. He then located the driver, 40-year-old Candelario Flores, who was attempting to flee the crash scene.
A passenger in the sedan died in the crash, while its driver was hospitalized.
Flores had been arrested three times before this incident for drunk driving. He has now been charged with murder for his role in the accident.
