Crash alert: Motorcycle rider dies after crashing into fence in Del Valle

DEL VALLE, TX – A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash on Circle of the Americas Boulevard in Del Valle Sunday night, the Austin American-Statesman reported.

The man was riding near Circuit of the Americas racetrack when the incident occurred sometime around 9 p.m. Police said the man crashed into a fence, and was pronounced dead at the scene.  The cause of the accident was not yet clear as Austin police continued their investigation.

The victim’s identity has not yet been released.
