AUSTIN, TX – Investigators with the Austin Police Department have identified the victim killed in a September 12th motorcycle accident.
According to CBS Austin, the accident happened within the northbound lanes of Research Boulevard, close to the intersection with Oak Knoll Drive, at about 1:00 p.m.
Investigators say that Ruben Krumholz, 63, died at the scene of the crash when his motorcycle left the roadway, went into the shoulder, and collided with a concrete barrier and a utility pole. Krumholz was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
Police have not yet determined an official cause of the crash. However, they believe speed may have been a factor.
