AUSTIN, TX – Officials in North Austin responded to a Monday afternoon crash that forced them to close off a portion of the road through a residential neighborhood.

According to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page, the accident occurred just after 2:30 p.m. along Wethersby Way near the Coppertree neighborhood north of downtown Austin.

No information regarding what may have caused the crash or how many vehicles were involved has been released as of yet. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide those details as they are made available.

Motorists are being advised to avoid the area while North Austin Police can investigate and clear the crash from the street.
