Crash Alert: One dead following north Austin crash

AUSTIN, TX – Officials in North Austin have reported one dead following a late-night collision near Interstate 35 Tuesday night.

According to the Austin American Statesman, the crash occurred shortly before 11:50 p.m. on a northbound I-35 service road just south of Breaker lane.

Officials with the Austin Police department believe the driver was killed after they careened off of the highway and hit a metal pole along the median. Their identity has not been released, pending notification of family.
