Crash Alert: One injured in South Austin motorcycle crash

AUSTIN, TX – One person was hospitalized following an accident involving a motorcycle and car Friday night, authorities report.

According to the Austin American Statesman, Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the collision withing the 5500 block of Menchaca Road near the Austin Public Library shortly before 9:00 p.m.

Details regarding what may have led up to the crash have not been made available. One individual was transported to the hospital with possibly serious injuries. No updates on their condition have been released as of Monday evening.
