AUSTIN, TX – According to a tweet from the Austin-Travis County EMS, one person was killed last night in a pedestrian crash on South Congress Avenue.

The crash took place south of William Cannon Drive at around 6:21 p.m. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency responders closed the road to traffic while they investigated.
