Crash Alert: Pedestrian hospitalized after South Austin crash

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in South Austin early Friday morning.

According to CBS Austin, the accident happened near the 10300 block of Manchaca Road at about 5:50 a.m. Austin-Travis County EMS transported the victim to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center for the treatment of injuries deemed to be potentially life-threatening.

No information regarding the cause of the crash or the identities of those involved has been released as of yet. However, the investigation into this crash is still ongoing.
