Crash Alert: Pedestrian killed in Southeast Austin

AUSTIN, TX – Officials in Southeast Austin are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian along Old Bastrop Highway late Friday night.

According to Talk 2370, the crash happened within the 900 block of Old Bastrop Highway near the intersection with U.S. Highway 183 shortly after 11:30 p.m.

Paramedics pronounced a male pedestrian dead at the scene. No information regarding the circumstances of the crash or the identity of the victim have been released as of yet.
