Crash Alert: Pedestrian killed in Travis County Accident

TRAVIS COUNTY – Emergency Services in western Travis County reported that a pedestrian was killed following an accident involving a vehicle Wednesday morning.

According to the Austin American-Statesman, the incident occurred near the intersection of RM 620 and Bee Cave Parkway just before 6 a.m. Lake Travis Fire Rescue pronounced the victim deceased upon their arrival at the scene.

No word on what caused the car to strike the pedestrian has been made available. Delays and closures are likely along this portion of Bee Cave Pkwy. throughout Wednesday.
