AUSTIN, TX – Police in downtown Austin responded to a rush-hour crash that caused delays early Thursday evening.

The incident happened just after 4 p.m. at the intersection of East Seventh Street and the Interstate 35 service road, according to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the crash. However, officials are advising motorists to avoid the area if possible during Thursday evening’s rush-hour as delays are likely while the crash is investigated and cleared from the road.
