BUDA, TX – Two men are dead and one woman is in critical condition following a car vs. semi collision southwest of Austin Friday morning.
According to CBS Austin, the collision occurred when the driver of a sedan was traveling the wrong way in northbound lanes on Interstate-35 near Buda at about 12:45 a.m.
The driver of the sedan was ejected from the vehicle after crashing head-on into the large semi. Both vehicles subsequently burst into flames.
The drivers of both the sedan and the semi were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. A female passenger in the truck was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with serious injuries.
