AUSTIN, TX – A vehicle careened into a home in North Austin Thursday afternoon, killing one person and critically injuring another.
According to Fox 7 Austin, the crash happened within the 1200 block of Bonnie Brae Street at about 3:30 p.m. Officials believe the incident was a direct result of a gunfight between the driver and passenger of the vehicle. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash while the passenger was taken to a local hospital with critical, life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made as police believe the incident was solely between the two occupants of the vehicle. No one inside the home was injured as a result of the crash.
