BUDA, TX – The two motorists killed in a fiery crash along Interstate 35 near Buda last Friday morning have been identified by police.
As previously reported, the crash occurred within the 13700 block of I-35 shortly after midnight when a grey sedan driving in the wrong direction by Jose Martin Zamarripa, 27 collided with a pickup truck driven by Brian Allen Tucker, 47. Both vehicles caught fire following the collision, according to police. Both men died at the scene of the crash.
A third victim, a female passenger in Tucker’s truck was able to escape before the vehicles caught fire and was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. No updates on her injuries have been released as of yet.
