Crash Alert: Pedestrian dies in Central Austin collision

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian died early Tuesday morning in a collision in Central Austin. Crew members from Austin-Travis County EMS, Austin Fire and Rescue, and Austin Police all arrived on the scene just after midnight to the 4200 block of Interstate 35. According to ATCEMS, a pedestrian was hit by an unknown vehicle. The exact details surrounding the accident are unknown at this time.

Medics attempted life-saving measures on the injured pedestrian; however, the pedestrian was declared dead at the scene of the accident. No further information has been released.
