Crash Alert: Pedestrian killed after North Austin crash

AUSTIN, TX – Officials with Austin- Travis County EMS have reported one dead following a vehicle vs. pedestrain crash on a busy North Austin road.

According to The Austin American Statesman, the crash happened shortly after 1:30 a.m. within the 9000 block of Research Boulevard close to Burnet Road. The victim was pronounced dead upon paramedics arrival at the scene.

It is still unknown whether she was left there as the result of a hit and run accident or another reason. We will continue to monitor any developments in this ongoing story and provide updates as they are released.
