AUSTIN, TX – One person died Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle in southeast Austin, reports KXAN.
The accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. on FM 812 between McAngus Road and Creedmoor Road. This is just south of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the accident, which they say involved a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.
One person succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the crash. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name to the public.
It’s unclear if anyone else sustained injuries in the collision.
Motorists likely faced delays along FM 812 Wednesday morning while emergency crews worked at the scene.
