AUSTIN, TX – Emergency crews responded to an urgent crash along a major roadway in north-central Austin on Wednesday morning, reports the Austin-Travis County Traffic Report Page.
The accident happened shortly after 9 a.m. on Metric Boulevard between Rutland Drive and West Rundberg Lane, which is just southeast of Q2 Stadium and the JJ Pickle Research Campus.
Police haven’t yet shared any details about the cause of the collision, the number of cars involved, or the manner in which the vehicles impacted.
Injuries are likely, though there’s no word so far about hospitalizations or the severity of those injuries.
Motorists likely faced delays along Metric Wednesday morning while police and EMS worked at the scene.
