AUSTIN, TX – Austin Police have identified the man that died earlier this month in a two-vehicle collision in south Austin.
According to KVUE, 47-year-old Samson Seablom sustained fatal injures in a crash that occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. on August 11th at South First Street and William Cannon Drive.
There’s still no word regarding the cause or circumstances of the accident. Seablom was a driver in the crash.
Medics transported an unidentified pedestrian to an area hospital after they were struck by debris from the two-vehicle collision.
The second driver involved in the crash, identified as 37-year-old James Preston Durbin, was arrested on a manslaughter charge.
The investigation is ongoing.
