AUSTIN, TX – A motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries early Thursday in a crash along a major roadway in northeast Austin, reports KVUE.
The accident happened shortly after 2 a.m. on East Braker Lane near Pioneer Farms Drive in the Pioneer Crossing area. This is east of I-35 and south of FM 734/Parmer Lane.
Police haven’t yet determined the cause of the collision, and it’s unclear if any other vehicles were involved aside from the motorcycle.
The motorcycle operator succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. Authorities have not yet released the name of the male victim.
The accident likely caused delays in the 1900 block of East Braker while emergency crews worked at the scene.
