AUSTIN, TX – Six people were hospitalized Thursday night following a major crash along the interstate in north Austin, reports KVUE.
The accident occurred sometime before 9:15 p.m. on the southbound side of I-35 between West Parmer Lane and Tech Ridge Boulevard. This is east of Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park.
Police haven’t yet shared any details concerning the circumstances of the collision except to say that at least two vehicles were involved.
Three adults and three children went to area hospitals with non-critical injuries. Two people involved in the crash did not require hospitalization.
Officials closed the southbound side of I-35 in the area of the crash for around an hour and a half while emergency crews worked at the scene.
