NEW BRAUNFELS, TX – A small child sustained fatal injuries late last month in an auto-pedestrian crash on the east side of New Braunfels.
According to KSAT 12, the accident occurred around 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 26th, in the parking lot of an apartment complex near 700 I-35 North. This is just north of Camp Comal and south of the intersection with Loop 337.
Police haven’t yet disclosed the cause or circumstances of the crash, nor have they released the name of the driver.
Emergency crews performed CPR at the scene, but the 4-year-old victim died after transport to an area hospital.
There’s no word regarding the driver’s condition at the time of the crash, and it’s unclear if they will face charges.
A full investigation is underway.
