CEDAR PARK, TX – Two people died, and one person sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision that happened in the Austin suburbs on Labor Day.
Around 10:20 p.m., emergency crews responded to the intersection of US-183, or North Bell Boulevard, and New Hope Drive in Cedar Park.
According to KVUE, a car carrying a 44-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy exited a gas station without yielding appropriately and collided with a northbound vehicle.
The woman driving the first vehicle, identified as Jennifer Ballejo, died at the scene. Her teen passenger died after transport to an area hospital.
Medics transported the second driver to the hospital with serious injuries. That person has not yet been identified by officials.
A full investigation is underway.
