AUSTIN, TX – An elderly woman died a few days after she was involved in a major collision in north-central Austin, reports KXAN.
The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 16th, at the intersection of North Lamar Boulevard and West Anderson Lane. This is near US-138 in the Crestwood and Georgian Acres neighborhood.
Police haven’t shared any details about the crash except to say that it involved two vehicles.
One of the drivers, identified as 90-year-old Billie M. Crawford, died from her injuries on Wednesday, August 20th, at the hospital.
It’s unclear if the second driver sustained injuries in the collision.
Authorities say that neither driver showed signs of impairment.
