ROUND ROCK, TX – At least one person died last Tuesday in a major collision at a busy intersection in south-central Williamson County.

According to KXAN, the fatal accident occurred around 9 p.m. at South Mays Street and Hesters Crossing Road on the south side of Round Rock.

Thus far, Round Rock Police haven’t provided any details regarding the circumstances of the accident. There’s no word concerning the cause of the crash, the number of vehicles involved, or the number of people killed or injured.

Police posted on X that the accident caused road closures until almost midnight while emergency crews responded to the scene.
