AUSTIN, TX – One person died over the Fourth of July weekend in a single-vehicle accident in southwest Austin, reports ATCEMS.

The accident occurred sometime before 7:20 p.m. Saturday along Old San Antonio Road near Estancia Parkway. This is near Golden Lake Estates.
Police haven’t yet disclosed the cause of the crash. They say that the vehicle involved overturned, entrapping the occupant, who ultimately died at the scene.
Authorities haven’t released the name of the victim.
The collision likely caused closures along Old San Antonio Road while emergency crews worked at the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
