CEDAR PARK, TX – Officials closed a major intersection in Cedar Park late Thursday morning following an injury crash, reports CBS Austin.

The collision occurred shortly after 11 a.m. at the intersection of West Whitestone Boulevard and North Lakeline Boulevard. This is just south of William T. Laws Jr. Park.

There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the accident, the number of vehicles involved, or the manner in which the vehicles impacted.

Injuries were reported, but police haven’t yet commented on the number of people who were hurt or the severity of their injuries.

The intersection remained closed for at least an hour while emergency teams worked at the scene.
