AUSTIN, TX – Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that claimed the life of a motorcyclist on Sunday in Del Valle.

According to KVUE, the accident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Pearce Lane and Alomar Cove in Del Valle East. This is south of Del Valle Elementary School and northeast of the Circuit of the Americas.

Authorities haven’t yet shared any details about the circumstances of the crash except to say that it involved a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.

The biker, who has not yet been named publicly, sustained fatal injuries.

It’s unclear if the two occupants of the passenger vehicle were hurt or required hospitalization.
