JONESTOWN, TX – Emergency teams responded to a major motorcycle accident with injuries Tuesday morning in northwest Travis County, reports ACTEMS.

The incident occurred shortly after 9:30 a.m. near the intersection of FM 1431 and Georgetown Drive in central Jonestown. This is about 35 miles northwest of Austin.

Police haven’t disclosed any details regarding the crash except to say that it involved only one vehicle. 

Emergency teams found the motorcyclist unconscious at the scene and transported them to Dell Seton Medical Center on a trauma alert.

Motorists likely experienced delays in the area of the wreck while crews assisted the victim and worked to clear the scene.
