AUSTIN, TX – An adult and a child were hospitalized Sunday after a collision involving multiple vehicles in northwest Austin, reports KXAN.

The incident happened before 1 p.m. in the area of Pecan Creek Boulevard and the service road for US-183, which is between FM-620 and Lake Creek Parkway.

At this time, police have not yet disclosed the circumstances of the accident except to say that two of the five people involved sustained injuries.

Medics transported the adult to St. David’s Round Rock, while the child went to Dell Children’s with serious injuries.

A full investigation is underway.
