AUSTIN, TX — One person was hospitalized Sunday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle while crossing a north Austin intersection, according to CBS Austin.

Authorities responded to the scene near Woodrow Avenue and West Koenig Lane in the city’s Brentwood area at around 4:35 p.m.

Austin-Travis County EMS, Austin Fire crews, and police arrived to find the pedestrian unconscious.

The adult victim was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

All lanes at the intersection were closed to traffic as investigators worked the scene.
