AUSTIN, TX – Officials closed several lanes of the interstate Wednesday after a collision involving a semi-truck in north Austin, reports KXAN.
The truck accident occurred sometime before 6:40 a.m. on the northbound side of I-35 between Howard Lane and Center Ridge Drive. This is near Parmer Center and the Scofield Farms neighborhood.
Thus far, police haven’t shared any details about the crash, and it’s unclear how many vehicles aside from the semi may have been involved. Additionally, there’s no word yet regarding injuries.
Officials closed all but one northbound lane for around an hour while emergency crews responded to the scene. All lanes re-opened by around 7:30 a.m.
