GEORGETOWN, TX – At least one person sustained serious injuries Saturday evening in a motorcycle collision along the interstate in Williamson County.
According to CBS Austin, the accident happened shortly before 5:15 p.m. on the southbound side of I-35 near Southeast Inner Loop on the south side of Georgetown.
The cause and circumstances of the crash remain under review. There’s no word yet regarding the number of vehicles involved or the number of people who were hurt.
Officials closed the interstate in the area of the wreck for over two hours while emergency teams assisted the victim(s) and worked to clear the scene.
