CALDWELL, TX – Emergency teams responded to a multi-vehicle collision along the highway in north-central Burleson County on Monday.
According to KBTX 3, the accident happened just before 4 p.m. on TX-21, or Presidential Corridor E, near Eden Lane on the northeastern outskirts of Caldwell. This is about 83 miles northeast of Austin.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the crash, nor have the released the number of vehicles involved.
Photos taken at the scene depict a pickup truck with rear-end damage and an overturned sedan.
No hospitalization have been reported thus far in connection to the accident.
Officials closed the highway very briefly Monday afternoon while crews worked to clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
