Crash Alert: Deputy hurt when struck by semi on SH 130 NB
AUSTIN, TX – A deputy with the Travis County Sheriff’s Office went to the hospital Tuesday morning after an 18-wheeler struck him along a highway in east Austin, reports KVUE. The incident happened at 8:46 a.m. in the area of 3900 State Highway 130 Northbound, which is just northeast of Walter E. Long Metropolitan Park.
