DEL VALLE, TX – Authorities have identified the woman who was fatally injured in a Del Valle pedestrian crash last Wednesday, reports Fox 7 Austin.

A previously reported, the incident occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. along McAngus Road and just northwest of Airfield 130.

Police say that an eastbound 2005 Honda Pilot struck 20-year-old Wendi Suzet Gonzalez-Leon in the roadway.

Medics airlifted Gonzalez-Leon to an area hospital, where she died from injuries sustained in the accident.

The driver did stop to render aid and speak with authorities.
