Personal Injury Damages

When you are injured in an accident, you are entitled to receive compensation for your injuries, also known as damages.  Injuries are not only limited to your physical injuries, but also include pain and suffering, mental anguish, lost wages, disfigurement, and property loss.  If you are hurt as a result of someone’s negligence it is imperative that you seek medical attention right away.  Any delay in treatment (damages) will negatively affect the recovery in your case.

It is difficult to have a personal injury case with no Actual physical injuries.  In order to take a case on we usually require that you have at least a few doctor visits before agreeing to take on your matter.    I have made some exceptions to this rule when an immediate family member witnesses a loved one die as a result of another’s negligence.

Your injuries are defined by a variety of factors which include but are not limited to, defendant’s driving record, severity of the accident, whether either party was drinking, extent of the injuries, prognosis of future medical care, etc.  Check out the FAQ section to see the answer to “What is my case worth?”
